Vvolt

Vvolt lent me a Slice Lite for a few weeks, and I thoroughly tested it, including conducting a few new tests to standardize my e-bike comparisons. These tests included a cadence versus speed test, an acceleration test, and a hill climb test.

The Vvolt Sirius is designed for urban commuters who enjoy a little off-road adventure. It hails from Portland, Oregon and boasts a powerful mid-drive motor with high torque.

When I first laid eyes on the Vvolt Alpha, I immediately sensed that this was an e-bike designed with an eye toward the urban commuter at an excellent price point.

The Centauri is an e-bike that combines a mid-drive motor and torque sensor with a Gates belt drive and Enviolo hub to create a smooth and enjoyable riding experience.
