That being said, it’s often hard for consumers to figure out which incentives are available in their city and state. We have found that the most comprehensive list of incentives in North America is maintained by the Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC) and Portland State University.

Reddit Communities

We are an active participant in the Reddit e-bike community, r/ebikes. It’s a very friendly community of e-bike enthusiasts. It’s a great place to ask questions about anything e-bikes. The other Reddit community that we are active in is r/cargobike. This community is for everything cargo bikes (electric or traditional). If you are looking to connect with other e-bikes, we highly recommend these two communities.

Many countries have laws regulating the use of e-bikes for safety. Regulations vary greatly depending on where you are, with national and regional regulations, different names and classifications. This wikipedia page is a good place to get started when researching the regulations in your area. Be sure to also check your local government websites as well.

A great resource for various topics surrounding batteries. One of our favorite articles covers how to prolong lithium-based batteries. Lithium-ion has not yet fully matured and is still improving. Notable advancements have been made in longevity and safety.
