Tenways originally started as an IndieGoGo campaign in 2021 to crowdfund their first e-bike: the CGO600. Based in the Netherlands, they set out to build “the best urban e-bike” that was smart, silent, and durable. They raised $500,000 in the first 15 days and would go on to have a very successful campaign, raising close to $825,000.  

Since their crowdfunding success they have gone on to introduce the CGO800S, AGO X, and other models. The Tenways CGO800S was our top pick for the best commuter e-bike under $2,000 in 2023.
