Gazelle Bikes has been making bikes since 1892, starting as Royal Dutch Gazelle in the Netherlands. They introduced their first e-bike in 2005, well before most other companies.

When you buy a Gazelle bike, you know you’re getting a high-quality product. They offer a 10-year warranty on their frames and a 2-year warranty on e-bike components, which is one of the best warranties in the industry.

As of 2023, Gazelle primarily has three models of e-bikes: Ultimate, Avignon, and Arroyo. The Ultimate line has the most powerful motors and biggest batteries, while Avignon balances performance with slightly less range. The Arroyo is the entry-level model with high-quality components at reasonable prices.

Gazelles are designed with the Netherlands in mind, making them great for rainy commutes and flat roads. However, they don’t handle big hills very well.
